3.2TL Driver's Seat

Does anybody feel that the driver’s seat on the "99-’00 TL is extremely
uncomfortable?  After driving the car for more than 10 minutes, the lack of
lower back support is extremely painful.  I have complained to the dealer
sveral times (and have had the seat swapped out for a different one) – to no
avail.  They tell me that I’m the only one complaining about it.  However,
several of my friends and coworkers have driven the car and agree with me.
Furthermore, Consumer Reports commented on the lack of lower back support in
the driver’s seat.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone with a similar experience.

91 Integra

I have a 1990 Acura Integra and I am painting it a three stage pearl
white/blue.

I was just wondering if any of you have heard of skirts for this car.  And
do you think that an exhaust would make a difference on this car.  I have an
intake already.

Thanks

Dan

Bose Systems Rebuilt "Better than New"!

If you bought your Legend used and haven’t heard what Bose system should
sound like, go to a local dealer and listen. There is no distortion at any
volume and has all the bass and treble you’ll need. Before trashing a $3000
sound system please look at our website. www.carstereohelp.com
We offer quality and value. We are highly recommended by our local Acura
dealer and the Bose Factory Store.
Thank You

'89 Integra

Is the ’89 Integra an "interference" engine?  Will a broken timing belt
cause bent valves?

New Poster: Questions

Hello,

I just recently became the proud owner of a 1990 Acura Integra GS.  I love
this car more than my regular car and would love to baby it… especially
since I got it for such a steal.

First question I have is what are some things that can be done for around
3000 to increase this car’s horsepower?  I have already done basic
maintenance things that should do this, cleaned up the fuel system, put high
performance spark plugs, and use synthetic 5W30 oil in her (anything lighter
might not be smart).  I guess what I am wondering is, has anyone turboed
this car, and if so did it stay reliable and did they notice a big
performance increase?  What would you suggest for parts, accessories along
the lines of exhaust and engine modifications.  Is there an Integra lovers
website or webring?

Second question is along the lines of looks.  I have noticed some of the
90-94 (?) Integra’s with ground effects and modified tires.  I can’t find
online anywhere that offers parts for this however, and would really love to
do this to this car.  17" or 18" wheels would look great, but not being
experienced in this sort of thing, I don’t know the amount of work or
expense involved in this conversion.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any advice, stories, etc that you have, I will
check back often in anticipation!

Happy Holidays all,
Trever

will there be type S for TL?~

I know the upcoming CL coupe will have the type S version, but i really
need the two extra door.  Anyone knows if the same engine and
modification will be done on the TL? If there is, that car will show up
in my garage.

Redesigning the Intregra

Any body know when Acura will redesign the Integra? I heard it’ll be 2001.
Is it true?

Tire Recommendations

Hello all…

I need to replace the tires on my sister’s 95 Integra. Does anyone have
any tire recommendations or any experiences to share? These tires are
for the factory steel rims- 195/60R14. I’m looking at good wet traction
for the rainy season and low tire noise. The current tire are extremely
noisy. I believe the fronts are a set of Bridgestones and the rear a set
of Michelins. I don’t know why, but this is how it came when she bought
it used.  Good  tire performance is good, but not at the top of my list
nor is the importance of long tire life.    I’ve heard positive reviews
on the Dunlop D60A2. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance
Victor
