Heres a toughy for all the Integra geniuses

You know the 2 prong connector on the passenger side under the dash. I jump
that connector and the red led on the computer is supposed to flash a code.
Well, whether or not the connector is jumped the LED flashes "1" constantly,
even if the car is running, even if the connector is jumped…….Does
anyone know the Problem????????

i was wondering if anybody has experience with buying a 4 button (doors,
lock, trunk, panic) and reprogramming it yourself to be used in your car.
what i plan to do is buy one off eBay and use the instructions i found to
reprogram it. could a remote from a TL/CL/EL be interchanged between the
models?

I am in need of the following 2 components for a 2000 Integra:

JDM Front Bumper Support
JDM Reinforcement Bar (rebar)

If you have these for sale, please let me know costs.

I need to understand what is happening in  this scenario which occurs
frequently when I buy gas.

Turn off ignition and pop open gas cover
Start pumping gas and then get inside car.  Key is not in ignition.

Alarm goes off.  Pushing buttons on remote does not stop nor does
starting car.  Car can be started and driven but alarm blares on for a
few minutes.

Why does this happen with the alarm logic?

This is my first post to this group. I have a 2003 3.2TL and am looking for
a new cold air intake. Something like a K&N filter charger for it. Does
anyone have any leads on where to get one in canada? What are good brands?

I am about to do something I swore I’d never do …. repair a broken air
conditioner. If I am very lucky, maybe it just needs a freon recharge but
….. are there any usual/common failures in the Legends airconditioning ?

Its a 1994 Legend … how strong and cold is the A/C system when its working
properly ?

Does it have to be on high to cool the car on a very hot day or does it cool
the car easily ?

At 6 foot 1, I ‘just’ make it into the Acura TL, but I find I’m
grazing the roof line. Didnt notice this on my two test drives. Darn.

Is there anyway to physically revise the mounting so that seat is say
1" lower than standard?

With the current controls, I cannot get the seat "low" enough.

I am trying different positions with the power seat, but the only
current way I really clear the roof is to have the back of the seat
heavily reclined, which I hate as it gives me that slouchy feeling.

If this becomes an issue for me, I might have to jsut deal with it,
and keep my out out for the 2007 Volvo S60 2.4T, but lets not go
there!

So seriously, can the seat mounting be changed?

There was a thread while back as to whether or not the power door locks can
be set to automatically lock when the car is put in drive or motion (like
most recent model cars do), but the question was never answered. The manual
is silent on this.

This initially did not bother me, but my wife finds it nerve-racking when
she suddenly remembers we’ve been driving around for a bit with the doors
unlocked  being used to cars which do this automatically …what was Acura
thinking here? — this is a personal safety issue).

Is it possible for a custom shop to figure out how to auto lock the doors
based on motion or drive gear?

I’m about to have my Timing belt changed.
97 Integra, 104,000 km . Other than the water pump
and valve gasket cover, What else would be replaced
while they are changing the timing belt ?

Any pertinent info would be greatly appreciated.
