Ok there is a front and rear accessory socket in the 03 3.2 TL. Both
are on the same 20A fuse (Fuse 9 in the Passengers underdash fuse box)
but they share the circuit with the radio. The box is hidden to where
the average customer can't find it (another reason for you to come back
to Acura and give us you money) but if you open the pass. front door
and gently pull up on the plastic piece on the floor where the door
closes. Then pull the weather stripping away from the front of the
door jam Next the Plastic piece on the right side of the car under
your glove box can be gently pulled away and the fuse box is behind it.
Sorry I don't have a picture and Im not the best with directions but I
hope you have luck with it. Feel free to post any questions and I'll
try to get back to them soon.
Also there is no fuse anywhere else in the circuit according to the
factory electrical schematic.

- Hide quoted text -- Show quoted text -
twpeters wrote:
> I have a 2003 TL and while using an inverter for my laptop the fuse blew.
> Does anyone know where
> the fuse for the Accessory sockets are located? Everything in the car works
> except the accessory socket
> and I have checked all the fuses listed in the owners manual.
> Thanks
> twpeters

It was listed as a "fuel regulator" and I assumed it was a fuel system
component not part for the transmission.

Thanks for the information about the seat belt. I'll give them a call.

Ron

"Acura God" <short...@insightbb.com> wrote in message

news:Yxd4g.947484$xm3.619847@attbi_s21...

- Hide quoted text -- Show quoted text -

> "Ron Jones" <ronjo...@insight.rr.com> wrote in message
> news:ygz3g.20561$mh.5547@tornado.ohiordc.rr.com...
>> Well I got my 2000 TL back from Acura today. With 87k miles on it they
>> put a new (remanufactured) transmission, fuel regulator, PCM (computer),
>> and front engine mount. I had to pay for the latter. I also had to pay
>> for a new seatbelt that had a bad buckle switch that caused the SRS light
>> to stay on. BTW he told me there was a SB and extended warrantee on the
>> passenger seat sensor and computer for the SRS (but that turned out not
>> to be the problem).

>> It drives like a new car! The general roughness I was experiencing was
>> obviously the transmission. He claimed the remanufactured transmissions
>> have all new guts. It seems to have extra parts attached to the top
>> compared to the old one so hopefully there were some changes made to the
>> design to fix the problems.

>> --
>> Ron Jones

> Acura seatbelts have a lifetime warranty. You should not have paid for the
> belt buckle. The extra parts you are referring to is an oil injector kit
> and the new trans should not have one on it. However it wont hurt
> anything. Just sprays fluid on clutchpack/gear inside the trans fill hole.

> David Short
> Acura God

I was already not too happy with the fuel economy, so if on the
> top
> of that it needs more expensive gas I will probably pull the deal back...
> Too bad as the car was exceptionally maintained and looks pristine despite
> the age and mileage (almost 190K miles)...

> Thanks,
> /MM

I run the cheapest fuel in my 91 Legend with 218k miles and have had no
problems. As you stated though the Legend is not shy about drinking the
fuel!

David Short
Acura God
