i got a 90 integra and when the rmp goes over 3000 rpm my heat gauge gose
all the way to cold then when i let of the gas it gose back to
normal…what could it be??????

 2001 TL.   Have a coin caught somewhere behind on within the hinge
mechanism of the coin tray (just in front of the gear shift lever).  Not
allowing the try to fully close.  Anyone know how to remove the tray or gain
access to the area behind it so as to remove the jamming coin ? . Can not
physically see the coin.  Thanks…neal

NOW I HAVE NO RADIO I NEED A RADIO CODE TO LISTEN TO IT THE WANT $90 FOR THE

Any recommendation on Short shifters? I hear it is the same one that DC
sports makes for 94-97 accords will fit perfectly is this true? thanks

I looked through my manual but didn’t find my answers.  I’m curious about
three things:

Can I disable the side curtain airbags due to a car seat?

Is there a way to set the door locks to open automatically when the front
door handles are pulled as opposed to having to unlock them prior to opening
the doors?

Is there an auto lamp feature?  I see that the lights will shut themselves
down if I leave them on but are there any sensors that will allow me to
leave them on at all times so they can trigger themselves when it is dark?

Is an excellent place to find information regarding fixing/maintaining our
Acura cars.

It’s somewhat youth orientated but VERY informative with many DYI articles
which will save $$$$ w/o invalidating warrantees.

They also have good deals in their group buy sections on things like better
brake rotors/pads which we all know are problematic.

Greetings,
Driver’s door lock does not lock while the door is open. Locks fine when it
is shut, with the key, or with the auto lock switch or flip lever from the
inside. Even locks fine from the passenger auto switch as long as the
driver’s door is closed.
Took the door panel off and took out the latch. When the latch is rotated
closed the lock mechanism turns fine, lcking and unlocking correctly. When
the latch is in the open position the pin blocks the lock from rotating.
Nothing "appears" to be broken or bent. Seems as though it was designed that
way to prevent people from locking their keys in the car. Could this be
possible?

I have a 1993 Acura integra LS i have an opportunity to buy a 1994
acura integra 1.8 engine motor. Will it fit? Do i have to do any
modifications? Give me other recommendations to which year motor should
i buy.

I just had my Acura in the shop for a new transmission (surprise) and after
I got it back, when I use the key fob to lock the doors the car doesn’t beep
and the lights don’t flash but the doors do lock.  When I unlock the doors
the signal light flash and the dash light goes on like it’s supposed to.   I
went back to my dealer and they tried to reprogram it with no luck.  Then
they told me that they were going to look into it.  I’m not holding my
breath because it isn’t the first time they told me the exact same thing and
I never heard from them again.

Anybody have any ideas?

I know the small black trim just past the rear wheels are removed
with 3 clips, anyone have any advice for removing the longer black trim
that is attached to the doors? Are they fastened in the same manner?
Any insight is appreciated as I’m trying to get under these to combat
the rust I’m sure is lurking underneath.
